Tom McDonald founded McDonald & Associates in 1979. Soon, George Snyder, Jeff Burns and Annette McTaggart joined him and became Managing Partners after earning their CPA licenses. Together they worked to grow the firm. Throughout the mid-80s, they were able to acquire several accounting and tax practices expanding to several locations throughout Michigan.

As a result, McDonald & Associates has an accounting services team in Michigan at six locations. Over time, we were able to offer a range of services, including accounting, payroll and tax planning for businesses as well as tax preparation, tax planning, and estate planning for individuals. In fact, the Mcdonald team of accounting and financial professionals have over three decades of expertise. Consequently, we have the in-depth knowledge to meet a wide range of clients’ needs. In addition, we regularly engage in continuing education to keep us up-to-date with the latest laws and regulations.
